- New Zealand’s test positive rate is around 1 percent suggesting that there is no widespread community transmission.
- According to WHO a good benchmark is to have at least 10 negative cases for every on positive case confirmed meaning a country with 9 percent test positivity rate under is testing well.
- New Zealand introdued a 4- level alert system that specific measures to be taken against covied-19 at each level. In the level 1- Prepare | level 2- Reduce | level 3 -Restrict | level 4- Lockdown.This four level down.
- According to the ministry of Health his particular area of professional interest is non communicate disease prevention and control.
